Based in the Karijini National Park, the second largest national park in Western Australia, the region is ranked in the top five visitor experiences for the state. It is an iconic, unspoiled nature based destination offering a unique and diverse landscape and an unforgettably authentic Western Australian outback experience. The area features dramatic landscapes with creeks, gorges and sheer sided chasms up to 100 metres deep. Session Length

  • The retreat operates seasonally and is closed from 1 November - 31st March
  • The best times to visit are between April and October. Check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 10am
  • This experience includes one night’s accommodation in an eco-tent for two people

Numbers on the Day

One child under 12 years of age is welcome to stay for no additional cost

Weather

During November to March it is extremely hot with heavy rain and storms occurring on a regular basis. For this reason the retreat does not operate from 1 November - 31 March.

Dress Code

  • Casual clothing such as jeans is perfect.
  • Please bring a torch, binoculars, hat, bathers, towel, camera, sunscreen, insect repellent and some warm clothes for the evening.
  • The climate is semi tropical – you can expect warm days and cool to cold nights.

Other Info

Park entry fees apply to the Karijini National Park. Passes are available for purchase at entry points to the park or from the Dept. of Environment & Conservation. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the relevant park pass.
