Travel the entirety of The Great Ocean Road on this Adelaide to Melbourne road trip. You and your group will travel by minibus through tiny towns and past gorgeous bushland to end up in bohemian Melbourne. Stay overnight at a hostel, learn about Aboriginal culture, spot wildlife and bushwalk.
Bring a sense of adventure and fun to this tour! You’ll set out on the road in your group’s minibus to be driven along the entirety of The Great Ocean Road. You’ll travel through the sleepy towns of South Australia, to stunning beaches, and stop to marvel at National Parks and amazing rock formations. You’ll admire the natural beauty of Reeds Lookout, Lord Ard Gorge and Mackenzie Falls in Grampians National Park. While you’re visiting the National Park you’ll also drop into Brumbak Cultural Centre to learn about Aboriginal culture and the significance of the area to Indigenous people.
In keeping with the tour’s basic appeal, you’ll spend the night in a dorm room at a hostel with shared facilities. The tour is definitely for people who are looking for an authentic bush adventure, not those who need creature comforts. The tour includes one breakfast and a dinner, you will need to bring along money to buy food along the way. You will be dropped off in artsy Melbourne at the end of the second day.
Maximum group size is 24 people. Please be aware this is not a private tour.
Please bring comfortable clothing that you can be active in. It is important to bring sensible walking shoes, sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen. The Australian sun is very strong in the summer months. You may want to bring swimwear with you. In the colder months you need to bring a jacket and a wollen hat, scarf etc.
