Why You'll Love This

What's Included?

  • A flight-suit
  • A chance to take photos of you as you prepare for your flight
  • 80 minutes flight in the open-air cockpit of the Pitts Special S2A aerobatic bi-plane

Upon arrival youll meet our friendly staff and climb into a flight-suit. Your pilot will strap you into and fasten your headphones and flight helmet. You'll be sitting in front of the pilot in the open-air cockpit of the Pitts Special S2A aerobatic bi-plane! There will be plenty of time for your family and friends to take photos of you as you prepare for your flight. Once secure, your pilot will prepare the plane for take off. During this time youll hear all the calls to air traffic control and speak to your pilot through the intercom.

You'll take off from Bankstown Airport and climb over the outer suburbs of Sydney to reach a cruising altitude of 1500ft. Youll soar over the sprawling Olympic site at Homebush Bay then circle north over Hornsby and St Ives. Once granted clearance to Sydney Harbour youll get a birds eye view of iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. You can wave at the Prime Minister at Kirribilli, fly higher than the eagles at Taronga Park Zoo and salute the sailors on Garden Island. Its the best seat in the house for the best view in the world! You may also get a chance to check out Rose Bay and the world famous Bondi Beach, before heading north over Middle Harbour, the Spit Bridge and Manly, following the coastline to Long Reef. At Long Reef youll drop to 500ft and skirt the peninsular up to Palm Beach and Broken Bay, then climb back to 2500ft for an extended session of adrenalin inducing aerobatics.

Try a loop and a roll to give you a view of the world from a completely different perspective. This is what the Pitts was made for and your pilot will give you a taste of the g-forces that Baron Manfred Von Richtoffen himself may have experienced during air combat. Landing back at Bankstown, youll be hard pressed to stop smiling. This is an experience youll never forget!
