Upon your arrival to the activity site you will be greeted by your awesome guides who will take you though a quick safety briefing. Once you're ready, your adventure will begin. Enjoy the thrill of facing your fears as you make your way down the rock face. Get strapped in, walk towards the cliff and see your landing spot up to 30 meters below you (that's equivalent to a 10 story building). Your heart starts pumping fast and your adrenalin kicks in as you leap (backwards or forwards) and cascade down. This trip is ideal for those wanting to try outdoor abseiling in a fun and supportive environment. Locations we use are ideal for beginners to intermediate abseilers. After your adventure you will make your own way to Rochford Winery, consistently voted as one of the best wineries in Australia, for a 2 course meal, with wine and a full cellar door wine tasting experience.

Please meet at Isabella’s Cellar Door at 1pm, your lunch and the booking will be listed under both ‘Melbourne Adventure Hub’ and your name.

On the Day

Session Length

  • This experience is available November - June only
  • This experience is generally run once or twice per month
  • Your total experience will be 3 hours in duration plus the time it takes for you to enjoy lunch
  • Bookings are essential and are subject to availability

Numbers on the Day

  • The price quoted is for 1 person.
  • There is a minimum number of 6 people needed to operate the tour and have a maximum of 16 people on the tour with 2 guides


  • Safety is our number one consideration and occasionally days will need to be rescheduled for safety reasons.
  • The decision to postpone the day will be made our Supplier.Not turning up because the day doesn’t look nice will be considered a “no show”.

Dress Code

  • Dress to suit the weather. We prefer you wear pants so you don't scrape your legs on the rocks
  • Also wear shoes that cover your feet (no heels). Runners are great for this activity
  • You will get dirty so it's a good idea to wear old clothes.

  • Minimum age is 18 years as alcohol is served
  • Maximum weight 105kg


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • If you are unable to attend on the day please send an email or phone this experience provider
  • Cancellations within 14 days notice will need to pay a fee of $50 per person amendment fee applies ($25 per person for half day bookings)
  • Cancellations within 7 days notice - cancellations or reschedules are not possible. You may choose to invite someone to take your place if you are not able to make it, otherwise you will considered a no show
  • No-shows and late participants on the day will also forfeit their payment and no re-bookings/refunds will be given.
