Imagine what it’s like to fly – actually fly! We’re talking about being completely airborne in a giant wind tunnel. It’s all possible at indoor skydiving and this morning ten lucky callers won and indoor skydiving intro two flights for two people as part of Kyle and Jackie O’s 12 Days of Christmas. Be sure to listen to The Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS 1065 each weekday for your chance to win a cracking RedBalloon experience. Still stuck for gift ideas? Here’s why you should give the gift of flight!
If you ask most people what super power they wish they had, a lot would say being able to fly. This Christmas – you could turn that dream into a reality by gifting someone an indoor skydiving experience. What exactly does it entail? Read on to find out.
Firstly, you’ll have a full safety briefing so you know exactly what to expect once you get inside the wind tunnel – because you’ll get a shock at just how strong the wind is in there. Once you are suited up with your helmet and goggles on you’ll be ready to go.
So – how exactly do you get in the tunnel? You can lean in with the help of your instructor and before you know it you’ll be airborne. Don’t panic, you won’t shoot up to the ceiling straight away. You’ll simply hover near the bottom while you get used to the feeling.
It really is the closest thing to the sensation of skydiving – so a great idea to try this before you jump out of a plane! The best bit is, this experience is perfect for all ages (three years up) and abilities. Want to know more? “I booked and intro session for my husband and I which had 2 jumps. We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to go again! The instructor was friendly and professional. Felt very safe.” Meghan, 02/09/18.
“I bought this for my son’s birthday and my daughter joined him. They had an absolute blast. They said it was really exhilarating and it was like nothing they’ve ever done. As an observer, I got to enjoy it because I saw every moment from the comfort of couches surrounding the flight tube. I’m planning on bringing my husband back to do it with him!” Moy, 20/07/18.
