Discover the best Black Friday deals money can buy on memorable experiences across Australia this Black Friday 2026. With the whole site on sale, it’s no exaggeration to say there’s truly something for everyone, whether it’s a well-deserved self-care experience or a treat for the whole family. Deals end on Sunday 29 November 2026.
The Black Friday sale at RedBalloon runs as a sitewide 12%* discount off gift vouchers and experience vouchers, rather than a shortlist of hand-picked products marked down individually. Because the discount sits on the voucher rather than on one product's stock.
RedBalloon runs one of the largest ranges of bookable experiences in Australia, from a quiet day spa package to a jet fighter flight, so a sitewide discount here covers a wider spread of gift ideas than most retailers can offer on one sale day. Shopping early gives more time to pick the right one before Christmas, rather than settling for whatever's still available in December.
The 2026 Black Friday sale at RedBalloon covers every single one of our experiences, meaning you can nab a discount on everything from spa treatments to weekends away. For a full list of inspiration, the categories below are a good place to start.
Black Friday falls in the middle of the holiday rush, which makes a day spa package one of the easier gifts to justify. The Deep Tissue Massage and Express Facial suits the harder-to-buy-for men in your life. For two, the Adelaide Hills Couples Day Spa Package with Wine and Antipasto runs for one hour and 45 minutes and pairs treatments with a wine and antipasto stop in the Adelaide Hills.
For a couple who'd rather do something than unwrap something, the 4 Course Sunset Dinner Cruise on Sydney Harbour covers dinner and the view in one booking. The Alba Spa Private Pool Session with Cheese and Wine is a shorter, quieter option: a 45-minute private pool session in Fingal, Victoria, with cheese and wine included. Guests need to be 18 or over for both, since alcohol is served on each.
For something further off the ground, the Jet Fighter Flight - Sydney and the Black Ops Helicopter Flight Mission both push toward the thrill end: the latter is a doors-off, military-style helicopter flight over Sydney reaching speeds up to 240km/h. For something calmer, the Sydney Harbour Helicopter Flight and the Sydney Seaplane Flight with 3 Course Lunch and Bubbly both take in the harbour at a slower pace. Anyone chasing the drop instead should look at the Weekend Tandem Skydive Over Wollongong, up to 15,000ft.
For the golfer in your life, options range from a single round to a full stay-and-play weekend. The 18-Hole Golf Experience at Cypress Lakes Golf Club in Pokolbin, NSW, sets a minimum age of 18 to drive the cart. The 1 Night Weekday Hunter Valley Golf Stay and Play adds a night's accommodation for a group of four, with golf cart included. Closer to the city, the 18 Holes at St. Michaels Golf Club in Sydney keeps it to an afternoon.
A hot air balloon flight trades the usual wrapping paper for a sunrise. The Yarra Valley Hot Air Balloon Tour runs for four hours, including breakfast after landing, and the Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Experience Over Melbourne covers three hours with CBD hotel pickup included and views over the city skyline as the balloon climbs. In New South Wales, the Hunter Valley Weekend Hot Air Balloon with Breakfast does the same over the vineyards instead of the city.
In the Hunter Valley, the Hunter Valley Horse Carriage Wine Tour runs three hours through the vineyards by carriage. In the Barossa, the Barossa Valley Wine Tour with Lunch and Helicopter Flight departs Hahndorf, South Australia, and runs a full day, pairing three wineries with a scenic flight over the vines. In Victoria, the Yarra Valley 3 Course Lunch and Wine Tasting Flight pairs a tasting flight with lunch for two. All three require guests to be 18 or over.
For something closer to a normal night out, the Luke Nguyen Lunch Menu with Wine at Botanic House is a 90-minute lunch for two in Sydney's CBD, and the Q Train Private Dining Experience runs for three hours aboard a heritage carriage in Drysdale, Victoria.
Buying a RedBalloon gift voucher is an option for anyone still deciding. Vouchers are valid for five years, and RedBalloon guarantees the price on a chosen experience for 18 months after it's picked, which covers most of the usual reasons a voucher sits in a drawer unused. Vouchers are included in the same sitewide Black Friday discount as everything else on this page.
Black Friday earned its name in the US, where retailers talked about the day their yearly accounts turned from a loss, written in red ink, to a profit, in black. It falls on the Friday after the US Thanksgiving public holiday, which puts Black Friday 2026 on Friday 27 November here in Australia. Most retailers now start their sale before the day itself, since the original overnight queues have largely moved online. The RedBalloon Black Friday sale will run sitewide from Monday 16 November to Sunday 29 November 2026.
Australia skips the public holiday and the turkey, but not the sale. Black Friday runs in-store and online here just as it does in the US, and for a lot of shoppers it marks the unofficial start of Christmas shopping: the point in the year when finishing the gift list at a lower price starts to feel realistic.
Use the Black Friday sale code at checkout to grab your chosen deal. Subscribing to the RedBalloon newsletter is the fastest way to hear when the sale opens each year, and when Cyber Monday or other sitewide offers follow it.
When Black Friday ends, Cyber Monday begins. Don't miss out on more great deals for one day only. And if you're looking for that perfect Christmas gift, we've got you covered, whether your budget is $100, $200, $300, or even if you've left it to the last minute.
