During your guided snorkel tour our professional marine biologist will guide you on a 30-minute underwater tour, showcasing the reef and its unique marine life. You will see and learn about the world’s largest bi-valve (the giant clam), the clown fish with their host the anemone coral, and the giant blue starfish. You’ll also learn a myriad of other facts about this amazing coral and marine life. You will only ever see these unique underwater environments on Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef!

Session Length

This experience departs daily at 9:30am for 8 hours. Check-in from 8.30am for a 9.30am (sharp) departure. We arrive back to Cairns at the normal time of 5:30pm.

Guidelines:

You must be a satisfactory swimmer to participate in this experience. The price quoted is for one person aged 14 years or older.

We ( 2 old farts and our young daughter) took part in all that was offered; the talks, the guided snorkel tour, the glass bottomed boat, the touch table and of course the snorkelling ( all 6 hours of it ). The proof of how much we enjoyed this once in a lifetime experience was the fact that we were last out of the water when it was time to leave. You can't say much more than that. 28 December 2012
