Rowing is complicated! Beginner's Rowing On The Yarra at Toorak is about competence in one of the oldest Olympic sports. Indulge in a sport that is usually inaccessible. Take rowing on the Yarra so not only are you learning 'oarsome' skills, but you're doing it in the best possible location!
Headed up by an Olympic rower and medallist, these lessons are amazingly effective and thorough - Olympians don't do things in halves! Rowing is not as basic as it looks - so your first lesson will involve will take place in the fantastic indoor rowing tank. This baby isn't for messing around - this is Olympic standard, because once you get out there with the equipment, you'll need to know what you're doing.
The second and third lessons are practical and now you're rowing! Learn the difference in rowing techniques, the physics of propulsion and the ins and out of the equipment. Learning in small groups, there's enough time to understand the team components whilst having plenty of attention taken for your individual needs.
All boats, oars and tuition are included - you'll emerge with the skills, the lingo, and the satisfaction of being taught to Olympic standard!
