The Corporate Yachting Regatta is a very unique way to promote communication, leadership and teamwork skills. Motivate your staff or reward your clients with a fun race day on Sydney Harbour.

A yachting regatta works as follows:

Your staff or clients are divided into teams of between 7-18 and allocated to yachts ranging in length from 33-45ft. After a short briefing on the wharf, the teams board the yachts and receive a short safety brief from the Skipper. From there it is off to the starting area to begin practise manoeuvres. Prior to the start teams jostle for position before the start gun goes off and the race begins. The teams will sail the yachts around a course of natural landmarks on the Harbour. No previous experience is required and all team members are equally encouraged to participate. A minimum number of 14 is required for this experience to go ahead (price stated is per person).

Please Note: A fully refundable, security bond covers loss, theft or damage sustained during the booking at a cost of $500 per vessel (to be paid on the day).

Please note food and drink is not included but BYO is more than welcome or catering can be arranged upon booking. .

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Sydney Harbour.

Session Length

This experience is approximately 4 hours, with between 2-3 hours on the water and transfers.

Guidelines:

No previous sailing experience is required. Full training is given on board by a fully qualified skipper. A security bond of $500 applies to all bookings (per vessel), fully refundable at the conclusion of the experience less theft, loss or damage.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for 14 people.We can hold up to 18 people, please call us for a quote for extra numbers. A security bond of $500 per yacht applies, authorised on a credit card and cleared within 5 days. It covers loss, theft or damage to the vessel.

Spectators:

Additional vessels are available for watching the action at the same rate per person as those involved with the actual regatta.

Weather:

Postponement is only due to adverse wind conditions and not rain. Cancellation is at the suppliers discretion.

Other Info:

All yachts are in full NSW Waterways Safety Survey, and skippers/instructors strictly comply with the manning requirements of NSW. We use state-of-the-art luxury Hunter yachts, fully appointed with full safety equipment, refrigeration, gas stove, and a hot water facility.
