If you are a family wanting to open your mind and your senses to nature, look no further. Look to a Segway tour. The Hunter Wetlands Centre in Newcastle has unveiled a very unique and fun way to explore the wonders of one of the most important eco and bird breading sanctuaries in New South Wales.

We will take you on an authorized guided tour exploring 45 hectares of beautiful rain forests, tree canopies and board walks, all done on your very own personal transporter.

Simply by shifting your weight forward or back and by moving your lean steer left or right, maneuvering this state of the art vehicle will soon become very intuitive……like riding a bike, only much easier.

Session Length

10 minute introductory DVD. 10 minutes Segway training. 1hr 40 min segway eco tour. Advanced bookings are essential. Saturdays and Sundays 10.30am and 1.30pm. Weekday bookings available, min 4 per tour.

Guidelines:

Minimum age is 12 years old. Participants under 14 must have a parent or guardian sign participant form. Participant height must be greater than 135cm. Minimum weight 35 kg, Maximum weight 125kg.
