Rated 4 out of 5 by A Mother's Day Surprise! The Riding School was easy to find, staff were very welcoming and friendly, explained everything well, My horse was lovely although a bit reluctant to trot at the start but soon got into it. There was a lot of walking from place to place which I found a bit boring. For me the ride was long enough having not ridden for well over 10 years! 13 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A safe and enjoyable experience. I haven't riden for 30 years but the riding instructor put me at ease and the ride went off without a hitch. Would love to go again. A truly wonderful occasion as it was my 25 year old daughters first time on a horse and she said she would definietely go again. 4 May 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very pleasant I enjoyed the riding experience and the staff were fantastic, however I would have liked to been afforded the opportunity to trot or canter on the route. My guide was very friendly and very knowledgable on both riding and the bush in general. 19 April 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Would have liked to trot more I was extremely excited for my horse riding experience, as it has been many years since I have mounted a horse. On arrival I found the staff a little stuffy like she didn't want is there, not very welcoming. Once booted up (in some very worn boots) and helmet applied we walked out to the stables to get a quick 101 on horse riding. Our instructor was lovely and made everyone feel very comfortable. Once we were riding through the bush land it was fantastic, we all had a laugh at a few of the sleepy horses and got comfortable with walking along. The time seemed to fly by and it didn't feel like we had been riding for 90mins, but we had. It seemed to go past too fast as we had little chance to trot and really horse ride. I would go again, with maybe a more experienced group, then maybe I could really get my monies worth. 20 February 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worse trail ride ever! If you are looking at walking around a sandy overgrown paddock with no nice scenery and only trotting for 10m max then this is for you! Honestly it was the most boring and lifeless trail ride I have ever experienced. Despite what is advertised as being suitable for all experiences, it is not! It is suitable for children and first timers only. Despite our group asking to trot and canter as advertised they would not allow it, oh wait we trotted for 10 metres! You also choke on mouthfuls of sand and dust in the terrible paddock provided. Boring boring boring and a huge waste of money! Do not go on this trail ride you are sure to be disappointed! 12 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great fun, friendly staff Despite it being a very hot day the staff made sure we were all comfortable and helped the group members with less riding experience. Good fun and well worth doing. 23 December 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by It was really great fun, and i would go back there if i were ever to do horse riding again :D the people were friendly and really helpful. 14 August 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by This trail ride was one of the best I have been on regarding horse riding instructon and safety, however I think the leading riders should ask more questions regarding what the riders are comortabe with doing for example; walking, trotting, galloping. We spent the whole time walking when all the riders were more than comfortable with trotting or cantering and when this was made apparent to the instructor the riders were only allowed to trot for less than 20 metres an then it was back to walking. Aside from that the place and people were lovely and welcoming. 15 July 2012
