Need to Know

Immerse yourself in the Great Australian Bush Ride. During this horse riding adventure you will ride on horseback through the beautiful bushland just 25 minutes North of the Perth CBD. This trail ride is suitable for people of any riding ability. Our guides are friendly and our horses well-trained.

On the day of your experience you will arrive at our equestrian centre and register for your ride. You will be fitted with boots and helmets and meet the team that you will be riding with.

At the stables you'll be introduced to your horse and receive basic instruction on how to ride.

When all riders are mounted and feeling confident you will head out on the trail accompanied by your experienced trail instructor. Your 90-minute horse ride takes you out through open grassland, banksia and grasstree bushland and pine forest.

The rides is paced to suit the experience of participants - is suited to first time riders of all ages and even the nervous rider will relax on our quiet and gentle horses. Experienced riders will enjoy the trot and canter trails available for the more adventurous and competent rider.

The ride is between one to one and half hours in duration (according to pace) so even the first time rider’s backside will approve!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Mariginiup (Wanneroo), WA – approximately 25 minutes North of the Perth CBD.

Session Length

Rides take place from Thursday through to Monday, excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday. There are morning and afternoon rides available. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. The duration of your ride will be 90 minutes.

Guidelines:

You must be eight years of age or over to be eligible for this experience. You will also need to be of an average weight for your height and have a reasonable level of fitness. No prior horse riding experience is necessary.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. There will be a minimum of two and a maximum of 15 participants per ride.

Spectators:

Friends or family are welcome to make use of our walking trail or seating areas while you are horse riding.

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date. We will contact you two hours prior to your arrival time if your ride is to be rescheduled.

Other Info:

You will be required to sign a waiver prior to participating in this experience. Body piercings must be taped or removed prior to riding.

It was a birthday gift for my husband who used to work with horses,but hasn't been on one for twenty years. We went as a family of four and all enjoyed the trail very much- would do it again for sure.

I had a lot of fun, the staff were friendly and the horses were well looked after and well trained and it was a delight to ride on them. I would recommend this experience and have already recommended to my friends.

The horse riding session was an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and we had a great tour guide. I particularly enjoyed being able to ride my own horse for the whole 90 minutes and the horses were just beautiful and gentle-natured.

It was great and easy to use, I had a problem at first as I never heard back from the Company in question after i submitted the voucher, however it was then worked out that I had incorrectly filled it out and thus it was never sent off. Operator error on my side as I missed the final submit button hidden at the bottom of the screen :)

Absolutely brilliant. Well mannered horses and very experienced and caring staff. Would take anyone again - even those that can not ride as this is a brilliant facility for everyone from those who have not even been on a horse to those with a few years experience.

The instructors were kind helpful and patient. It was a great way to experience horse riding and I will definitely go again and recommend it to anyone. Overall it was a great experience to give on Valentines day!
