Explore the historic Old North Stock Route as the stockmen did... On horseback! This is a 3 hour ride, only suitable for experienced riders. Enjoy cantering through open bushland, taking in breathtaking views in all directions and if you’re lucky, swimming across the Moore River, all on horseback.

The perfect way for experienced riders to not only have a fantastic three hour ride, but also enjoy the historic Old North Stock Route. The Stock Route runs north and south of the Junction Bridge and the Junction Inn. Take a step back in time, and ride as the stockman did, only an hour from Perth.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

A little over an hour from the centre of Perth, the experience is located only 15 minutes north of Yanchep.

Session Length

The experience runs for three hours, with rides available daily.

Guidelines:

For safety, we are unable to take pregnant women out on our rides. Minimum age for participants on this ride is 10 years of age. Maximum weight for participants is 100kg.

Numbers:

This is a group ride, with a maximum of 8 riders on any ride.

Spectators:

The experience itself is not suitable for spectators, however other guests are welcome to sit back and relax in our bushland surroundings, or we can direct you to some great coffee and cake, or to other great local attractions.

Weather:

We don’t take out rides in very high winds or when there is any threat of a thunderstorm, but we’ll let you know early and offer a reschedule to suit you!

Other Info:

Participants of this ride are required to have more than 50 hours of riding experience.

Absolutely fantastic, I have been on many trail rides and this is the only one that really caters for the experienced rider. You really felt like you were riding out on your own horse. Lots of cantering and galloping and wonderful scenery. We will be going again very soon.
