The Alpine Horse Safaris in Kosciuszko National Park are the perfect way to see the incredible alpine countryside, and experience riding on horseback. The 3 day and 4 night experience includes all meals, all overnight accomodation and approximately 6 hours of horse riding per day. An amazing experience!

This experience is located 2 hours from Canberra, 50 km Southeast of Cooma in the Snowy Mountains, NSW.

Session Length

The experience runs for 3 days and 4 nights, from November to the end of April.

Guidelines:

As horse riding is a physical activity a certain level of fitness is required. Please advise medical/dietary conditions on booking. Participants must be over 7 years old, under 7s will be considered given experience and fitness. (children must be capable of listening to and acting on instructions).

Numbers:

Group size is approximately 16 guests with 2 guides.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

Rides still go ahead, regardless of weather conditions. We are riding in Alpine country which can change quickly therefore we require our guests to carry oilskin coats at all times and bring warm clothing.

Other Info:

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a riding adult.
