This Melbourne sport tour is for anyone who loves to see balls fly, hear crowds roar, and feel the excitement of a close game! You'll get behind the scenes at venues that play host to some of Australia's favourite sporting events, including the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Rod Laver Arena!

On the morning of your tour you will explore a range of sporting venues, including Flemington, home of the Melbourne Cup, the horse race that stops the nation! We'll drive through the Commonwealth Games Athletes' Village and around Albert Park on the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit, and you'll tour behind the scenes of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The MCG is a super stage for Australian sport, a stadium for the 1956 Olympics, Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, International Cricket and Australian Rules Football. Highlights of the tour include the Northern Stand, coaches' box, players' change rooms, cricket viewing room, Long Room, Bill Lawry Cricket Centre, aerial views, the new MCG Museum, the Ponsford Stand and a walk on the hallowed turf (all subject to availability).

We'll then stop for lunch, which you'll enjoy while overlooking the arena at Etihad Stadium!

After lunch choose between a tour of the Rod Laver Arena at Melbourne & Olympic Parks OR The National Sports Museum at The MCG. Rod Laver is located in one of the world's busiest sports and entertainment precincts. Enjoy an insiders' view as you are taken through Australian Open tournament control, the change room used by the world's best tennis players, the Walk of fame, up to the superboxes and VIP hospitality areas, inside the media centre theatrette and, events permitting, into the arena!

The National Sports Museum features more than 2500 sporting artefacts and extensive multimedia displays, showcasing the great moments in Australia's sporting history. Also included is the MCG story and an extensive interactive area for kids of all ages.

This an unforgettable experience for any sports lover!

It was very informative & a great way to see behind the scenes. It was an exhausting day. Had a great lunch at Ettihad stadium. Pity the weather wasn't better but it didn't affect much of the tour. Would like to have seen a bit more behind the scenes or at least the stabling area of Flemington racecourse.
