Session Length

The Lanes & Arcades tour is 4 hours in duration, with a 25min break for morning tea and approx 1 hour for lunch. The tour starts at 10am and finishes by 2pm. This tour operates Monday-Saturday (6 days per week). Tours do not operate on Sundays or public holidays.

Guidelines:

The Lanes & Arcades is an accessible walking tour – casual walking is involved (approximately 2km is covered) and there are a few stairs along the way but participants do not require a high level of fitness.

Numbers:

We like to keep our tour small and intimate, with a maximum number of 8 people per tour.

Weather:

The Lanes and Arcades tour operates in all weather conditions and we provide umbrellas for rainy days. As the tour takes you to many indoor venues, there are always opportunities to escape the heat, cold or rain.

    We had a great tour guide, the tour itself was awsome, we all enjoyed seeing a different side to Melbourne, and finding individual buys that are supporting our local designers. Everytime I wear a piece I purchased on the day, I get a huge number of comments!!! it was great to be given the time to go back ourselves to do furhter looking and shopping. all food stops were great too.

    Sean was a very enthusiastic, knowledgable guide. He managed the group well and we had lots of fun, as well as learnings lots....... That even we Melbournians did not know. A most enjoyable experience. Morning tea and lunch were both delicious.

    The guide was excellent and very knowledgable. The morning and lunch was excellent also. I learnt a lot about Melbourne that I didn't know before and found some very interesting shops. I went back and visited them when the tour was finished.
