Two dedicated lifts propel visitors to Level 88 in under 40 seconds –and only Skydeck 88 can give you the world’s only “Edge Experience” – a switchable glass cube which slides out from the building – with you inside!

Apart from the unforgettable panorama, Skydeck 88 entertains the entire family with a host of activities and fascinating facts.

Touch and discover “Serendipity” - the 6 metre long, interactive 'Table of Knowledge'. Follow the scrolling LED floor and wall displays; match the sounds to the Melbourne landmark or simply step on to the 'Terrace' and expose yourself to the outside elements.

Located beside the Yarra River in Southbank, Skydeck 88 will change the way you look at Melbourne and maybe the world.

Venue:

This experience is on Level 88 of Eureka Tower, Southbank... you can't miss it! Remember to activate your voucher, or Skydeck will not admit you.

Session Length

Skydeck is open 365 days a year, from 10am-10pm every day (last entry 9.30pm) except on Christmas and New Years Eve, when it's open 10am-5pm. Please allow about an hour for the experience- the observation deck is a self-guided tour and The Edge operates for about 5 minutes (this cannot be prebooked)

Guidelines:

The Edge is designed to be a thrill experience, and our visitors can have mixed reaction. We do not recommend that you experience The Edge if you are pregnant but it is your decision.

Numbers:

The Edge can hold up to 12 people at a time.

Weather:

The Edge is affected by weather. You can call that day to check if it will be open - it's only closed in extreme weather conditions.

It is something that you get curious about and then try it and then that's it...maybe do it again in the future or never at all. I will still recommend it because it is one of Melbourne's pride. Rated 5 out of 5 by Melbourne's #1 must do You must experience this at least once! I'll be going back again, next time during the day. If crowds aren't your thing, we went on a thursday night around 2030hrs and the place was as quiet as a library. Perfect! No queing, no standing around hoping to snare a seat. Wait time for the Edge was only 10mins, which was perfect as it gave us a chance to do some laps around staring out at the beautiful city. Get there now! 10 May 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by ok Staff friendly and informative, view is fantastic but was expecting the edge to be a better view and longer time. Also was expecting to maybe have a cocktail or two while enjoying the view, but not ordinary wine at the cafe. 7 May 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by I got engaged! Not only was the venue amazing but the staff were so professional and friendly. Definate a must on the to do list. To top off the experience, when my fiance proposed to me in The Edge, every significate moment was captured on camera by a staff member. 3 March 2013
