Communication before our trip was fantastic. Very helpful and informative. Steve was very friendly and helped my children and myself onto the boat and off again.
My husband and I spent most of the time on the top deck which was lovely. Our daughter got to steer the boat which she was super excited about.
There was only one down side on the boat and that was the drinks and scones. There was no milk left when we got our hot drinks and my children, mother inlaw and myself got half a scone and there were none left for my husband and father inlaw :-( There were also no drinks not even water for the kids.
Steve and Rhonda really need to cater for all onboard.
Saying that, I would love to go on this cruise again as it was very relaxing and in my opinion - value for money
Thanks heaps for my lovely Mothers day cruise.

We really enjoyed this cruise, Steve and his wife are lovely people. Very informative, great scenic cruise. Kids loved feeding the fish before the cruise started. Would recommend.

Was just expecting a cruise along the canals, but got an in-depth, informative and entertaining tour from the skipper along the way. He has a lot of knowledge about the area and properties that are built along the canals, it was really interesting to hear about. Since we are from the far north side of Brisbane, it was nice to learn about an area which we know so little about.
Tea and coffee is basic, but the scones provided with jam and cream (no butter though) were really yummy.
The boat itself provides a lot of walking space downstairs so you can move around the boat easily. The benches along the sides of the boat provide ample space for passengers and a good view (no glass windows, you can stick your hands out and feel the breeze on your face). The upstairs section was small but provided a wonderful view - take a hat and wear some sunscreen if its a sunny day though, you could get sunburnt!
I took my mum, aunty (who is from overseas and was her first trip to the Gold Coast) and brother, who all really enjoyed the cruise. I really enjoyed this trip because it was more than I expected and feel that I really got my money's worth. Definitely book a trip!

Had a great time. Lots of information and knowledge by Steve the operator of the cruise. Such a beautiful day and it was gorgeous on the water. Lovely scones. We sat up on the deck on top and had an awesome view. Thanks so much for a special morning. Really enjoyed it and would do it again sometime.
Cheers

The skipper was excellent. Very informative and knowledgable. The devonshire tea was a llittle average (scones were dry - and no butter), but that would be the only down side. I would certainly recommend this to someone else.

I bought this for my mother for her birthday. It was great value for money and our host was knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking to relaxing way to see some of the Gold Coast then this is definitely worth 2 hours of your time.

Dot let the little old boat fool you. This is the best river cruise on the gold coast I have been on.
The captain was friendly and informed about the local area . He shared stories and jokes with the passengers that created a pleasant atmosphere .
We have been on the bigger boats and although never had a bad experience on them we really enjoyed this cruise.
When we arrived the captain greeted us and pointed out where the boat was , he then encouraged our kids to feel the fish which they really enjoyed .
The scones , jam ,tea and coffee was basic help yourself from the table but very nice .
When we picked up more passengers from a different dock the captain chased down passers by and handed them brochers then ran back to the boat to continue , We all had a good laugh and commented that you dont see the bigger operators doing thoes things to get bussines.
We will go again next holidays and recommend to anyone.
