Looking for something exciting and just a bit unusual for your weekend? Enjoy the exhilaration of a forest ride in the Hunter Valley, as you are powered by a team of Siberian Huskies. Under the control of the musher, you’ll see the forest trail from a completely different perspective!

Get ready for a ride with a difference; on a dog sled!

On the day of your dog sledding experience, you’ll arrive at the venue and will be warmly welcomed by your host. Your host will give you an overview of the sequence of events and will provide you with a short safety briefing before proceeding to the kennels to meet the ever-excitable huskies.

Once at the kennels, you’ll watch the dogs being harnessed and the preparation of the dog sled cart. Your team will consist of at least 6 dogs to ensure you feel the action-packed sport of dog sledding!

After all of the dog team is harnessed, it’s time to fit your helmet and get you seated in the cart in anticipation of this unique experience! This is also the perfect opportunity for a few photos!

As your musher stands on the back of the cart, it’s all system’s go and your excited team of Siberian huskies takes off, eager to give you the dog sled experience of a lifetime! Ride times may vary depending on the dogs, weather conditions on the day, and which trail is used.

Finally, it’s time for a relaxing warm drink and an opportunity to discuss the experience with the mushers and dog handlers.

Experience was unforgettable, the Huskies were very excited and were all howling until we took off sledding. I was surprised by the big breakfast they had - BBQ with coffee and tea. I would recommend this to anyone!
