I was speaking with a client yesterday and despite not being able to provide salary reviews, they will be focusing on reward and recognition, as they value its importance now more than ever. We are hearing this more often than not and pleased to hear that despite these times, companies are still investing in the people they have. According to Hewitt 70% of Australian companies currently have head count freezes, so it makes you think, you best make the most of the ones you have.
