Our tour guides are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, so they’ll ensure that you have much more than just a run-of-the-mill wine tour. We keep our tour groups small, so you get to know other interesting and fun-loving people whilst enjoying the many varied tastes on offer.

During the day, you’ll visit fabulous wineries, all chosen for their quality wines and excellent service and sample a cheeseboard at one of the wineries. By now, you’re probably a little hungry, so it’s time to indulge in a vineyard lunch platter with a glass of wine (or juice) at Houghton Winery.

Wineries visited on the day include:

Waters Edge Winery

Pinelli Winery

Houghton Winery

Charlies Winery

Edgecombe Bros Winery

After lunch, we head to a microbrewery to sample some beer and a snack basket. Afterwards it’s time for something sweet as we enjoy some delicious nougat tasting and then on to the Margaret River Chocolate Company, which is sure to delight all the chocoholics as they try chocolates and handmade truffles! Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly recommended! Would go again!! This was an excellent tour. We tasted a huge variety of wines and ports and had some great entertainment along the way from our driver and some of the wine experts... Of all the wine tours i've been on this was by far the most generous with regard to volume! Everyone had a great time on our bus! 3 April 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice tour but poor planning put us out Firstly I booked the tour, which was all confirmed, so my partner and I planned a day off work for it. Then I received a call from the provider at 6pm the night before the tour, saying it was cancelled. This was not enough notice for us to change our days off work. The provider mentioned we could wait till the morning of the tour and if they were to go ahead with it, they would call me. I agreed to this but mentioned I would have to check with my partner so if we changed our mind, I would leave a message. We decided to rebook so I left a message stating this. Then on the morning of the tour, I received a call saying they were going ahead with it, despite the message I left. This was very irritating. We went on the tour at a later date with no problems. The tour was nice however the driver did not make an effort to bring everyone together like on other wine tours I have been on. Based on my experience with this tour company, I would not recommend them. 29 December 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average The first stop 'Waters Edge Winery' doesn't even make wine in the Swan Valley, it seems this is only a compulsory stop because its now owned by Captain Cook Cruises, who are partners with Swan Valley Tours on their wine cruises. The wine is mediocre at best and we spent far too long there. Although it states in the description of this tour that they "operate with a maximum of 24 people on the tour", when we got to this first winery we had to wait around for 2 other tour groups to arrive before the presentation and tasting could begin, so actually the cellar was packed. The other wineries visited were average, however the lunch at Houghton's was very nice - a platter for 2 to share with a glass of wine. Fine with us since we were a couple, but a little uncomfortable for any 'odd ones out' who had to share with a stranger. The nougat tasting was not at the nougat shop in the valley, but was a piece of standard wrapped nougat at one of the wineries. The stop at Margaret River Chocolate was ok, one chocolate each to try so don't be fooled by plural in the description: "try chocolates and handmade truffles". The last stop was the micro-brewery where we received a few jugs of Beer/Cider to taste amongst the group and some turkish bread and oil dips for each table. Overall, it was a fine day out, however, had we paid for it ourselves and not received as a gift we would be more disappointed as we don't feel it was value for money. 16 December 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by An enjoyable experience Our tour was very good, we were picked up on time and the driver was cheerful and very knowledgable about the area. The wine tasting and food were very enjoyable, and with the good company we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good day out. 29 November 2012
