This Barossa Valley winery tour is designed for the more serious wine lover and provides a brilliant cross-section of the finest wines the Barossa Valley has to offer. Visit 5 of the very best cellar doors in a day, enjoy structured tastings, as well as a vineyard tour of 160 year old vines!

On the day of your Barossa Valley winery tour, you will be collected from your accommodation before setting off for a full day in the beautiful wine growing region.

First stop is Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre and there is no better way to start the day. We’ll taste a range of their award winning wines while enjoying the ambience of the state of the art visitor’s centre.

Next stop is Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop where there is a choice of 6 different wines under the Beer Bros. Wine label. These wines are available for tasting and purchase. Visit the Farm shop and tempt your taste buds with some of Maggie’s famous products or maybe purchase a few bottles to enjoy later.

Third stop is at the Wolf Blass Winery. This is the venue for lunch (subject to availability on the day). You’ll enjoy a gourmet, regional platter of local meats, cheeses, pickles, olives and breads - the best foods the region has to offer. A wine tasting is included, enabling you to purchase your favourite wine to compliment the lunch. Sit back and relax, taking in the ambience and views of your surroundings while indulging in delicious food and premium wines.

Fourth stop is at Langmeil Estate, who provide a tour of their 160 year old Shiraz vineyards (some of the oldest in the world) and includes the estates historic buildings, culminating in a tasting of fine wines from the region.

Final stop is Chateau Tanunda. This winery offers a structured tasting of their fine range of wines in one of Australia’s oldest historic winery buildings. Time permitting; there may also be an opportunity for a tour of their wine making area and an opportunity for a barrel tasting (at the winery’s discretion). There may also be a chance to sample wines from some of the Barossa’s small winemakers (when present).

After your full day of wine tasting, you’ll be returned to the Adelaide CBD at around 5.30pm.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Day! It was our first time to the Barossa, and this tour gave us a great insight of the Barossa region... However, I do wish we were able to visit more of the smaller family run wineries like langmeil Estate... It was an absolutely beautiful winery and all the staff made us feel very welcome. We had a very enjoyable day, tasted some great food and wines. 1 May 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by A great day. Very enjoyable. Our driver was pleasant and knowledgeable. All of the wineries we visited were nice and the staff extremely helpful. The Maggie Beer Farm Shop was really good and made a nice break between wineries. We had a great shared platter for lunch. We visit The Barossa, on our own, quite often, but had only been to one of the wineries, that was on our tour. The rest were new to us. I would willingly recommend this tour. 12 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic day in the Barossa My wife and i would like to thank Amber for her tireless effort in making our day trip to the Barossa an enjoyable experience. Her local knowledge on the region and South Australian history was excellent, sometimes a little too over the top, but it never deterred her from driving safely and making sure all guests were well cared for. Another standout was Johnathon, whose tour of the winery and passion for everything and anything to do with wine was astounding! Generally the wines on offer were ok, the hosts at each winery were friendly, and the lunch provided was substantial and appropriate. Overall we had no idea what to expect from this tour, but we're certainly glad we took the punt. 7 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent for visitors and locals alike! We're locals and received the tour as a gift from friends. Although we've done the Barossa multiple times by ourselves we've never done it guided and now we're so glad we have! Hannah was a well of information not only on local history but current events, viticulture, travel, the people we were to speak to at the vineyards and anything anyone seemed to throw at her. She was just amazing! We didn't enjoy all the wine, who does?! But the atmosphere and the knowledge of those we spoke to more than made up for the drops that we didn't like. When we did find something: Oh Boy! Special praise must be given to Jonathon at Langmeil, his passion and love for the job outshone the rest and was half the experience himself! The food plate at Barossa Valley Estate was gorgeous - more than enough to share between two (but be quick on the muffins, we missed out, but apparently they were amazing) And of course Hannah! We will be taking the tour to McLaren Vale if we can make sure she's our guide. 21 January 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A very good day The bus was on time to pick us up and I found the driver to be very polite and had a very good knowledge of the Barossa area. At all times he was polite and helped every one on board the bus to have a great day. The winery staff were very friendly and guided us through each tasting. The lunch provided was very acceptable and we enjoyed the company of other members of the group. The only criticism I had was the quality of the wine that was provided for tastings and found it of a lower quality than I would have expected. As I live in the Southern wine region I find the average priced wines are more suiteable to my palate in both both red and white tastings . Lastly thank you for a very acceptable day out. 25 November 2012
