Watch your team grow in friendship and teamwork as they work to create their own restaurant. Everyone cooks with fun and friendly chefs in our great venue, close to town and transport. Get your team sizzling in sync in this fun-filled, hands-on activity!

The Surprise Start

Over a canape, you'll be introduced to the idea of creating a new restaurant. Everyone has a little cafe-owner in them... let's see what you've got! We'll discuss how cooperation in the kitchen translates to the workplace, then liven up the event with some music and drinks.

The Cook-Up

Begin to create truly high-quality, beautiful food. Menu items include the likes of Hawaiian Prawns or BBQ Lamb along with delicious brownies or wicked tiramisu. Groups of 12-18 will each have an experienced chef demonstrating how to chop, fry sizzle, flambé, BBQ and bake your way in 2's and 3's to commercial success. Create a magnificent buffet by your own hand!

The Importance Of Presentation

Create an 'Italian Long Lunch' style table setting. Everyone becomes involved in putting out tea lights, intricate napkin folding, adding flowers... whatever they choose from their surroundings. Watch creativity design skills emerge and listen to stories of personal dining experiences as your team members strut their stuff.

The Feast

Relax, sit back, and enjoy the magnificent feast you've created together! Discuss highs and lows and congratulate the hidden Jamie Oliver and Matt Moran in the group.

Participants will leave happy, feeling part of the team and with amazing new skills too!

Venue:

NSW: Surry Hills, just minutes to Central Station. VIC: South Melbourne & Abbortsford. It is a Vibrant and funky converted warehouse, purpose-built and designed specifically for our team cooking events for up to 50 people, plus conference facilities for up to 20 people.

Session Length

Please allow approximately 3.5 - 4 hours including preparing and feasting. Depending on the venue, drinks may be BYO - we will advise you. Options for quicker, cocktail style team events are available... please give us a call.

Guidelines:

Please note: Participants must be 16 years and over to attend this experience . We take care to make sure everyone can be included. With advance notice, we'll tailor the recipe to suit vegetarians and people with other dietary requirements.

This price is valid for up to 15 people. We can hold events for up to 700 at any venue Australia-wide, please contact us to discuss. Please Note: Aprons, hats, knives and cocktails on arrival are an additional extra and are not included in the package price.

This experience is indoors so it goes ahead rain, hail or shine!

More than a cooking class, classes are tailored to the event to introduce your objectives 'subtly' using positive wording such as support and respect, plus the similarities between your work and a restaurant - timing, satisfied customers etc. The emphasis is on relaxed fun and 'bonding'.
