Rated 5 out of 5 by Trickey A wonderful time was had, can't wait to do it again.
The whole overnight package was terrific, room nice overlooking Parliament House and the lights of the city. Evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant was delightful, as was the staff. So convenient to walk to the shops for retail therapy. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone, and we will certainly do it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Magz This was mostly a good experience, and would do it again.
The room was good and quite generous, but the bathroom was a little too compact for one person, let alone two, and there is nowhere to do your makeup under good lighting. The mirror over the sink is too far away (because of the sink) and the lighting is behind you, making it too dark to be able to see. The mirror in the room had the same problem.
My other grievance is that when you have a set menu, your choices are very limited and the restrictions put upon you by the waiter make it an unpleasant experience. It would be much more enjoyable for all if they set a price limitation rather than a choice limitation, and you pay the difference. NB The food, the wine and the service was excellent though! Definitely value for money, considering the excellent location of the hotel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ojools Dinner & Breakfast were fantastic.....room needs an urgent upgrade
The Executive King Suite needs an urgent upgrade. The bathroom really smelt (as did the whole room) and wasn't very clean. The bed wasn't that comfortable and the view wasn't great. The curtains definitely need a good wash. Was to afraid to look under the bed to see what was under it. Not the cleanest place. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Dinner was unbelievable magnificent. 10 out of 10 for the food and the service.
Breakfast was great also - 8/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cats13 Very nice weekend break from home.
The basement car parking is safe and great where you can just rely on the public transport for getting around. Nice view from our very clean comfortable room. The lifts provided a very prompt service in such a popular venue. Restaurant service and facilities were faultless. Evening meal and drinks followed by a very late morning Buffet which was fantastic and all facilitated at your own pace . Great location to gain access to all attractions or business appointments within Melbourne CBD.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Craigus66 Restaurant was great , hotel service was poor
The staff at reception had no idea of the package deal , they tried to charge me $25 for my free overnight parking but they did manage to charge me for my "room upgrade" which I never asked for as I was already booked into a king executive room .I was in a hurry to leave and thought she was charging me $8 for some minor fee which didnt worry me but it turned out to be $80 as I could hardly understand the accent . Left a bad taste in my mouth .Lifts are very slow and the foyer was often crowded. Reception is understaffed .
Luckily the restaurant was good as was the location.

Rated 4 out of 5 Had a very good time and all went well.
We Indulge on our special 23rd Wedding Anniversary celebration in purchasing the Melbourne City Overnight Getaway for two. We had a great experience expect we only received one welcome drink instead of two. Something the Hotel overlooked.
The plus side the late check-out of was extended to 3pm instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Darren Great experience.
We had a really nice time and the location was great for a night of roof top bar hopping!
Dinner was probably the only let down as it seemed more like a pub meal than a nice restaurant.
Breakfast was fantastic.
Overall we really had a great time and would love to do this again in the future.
