Just minutes from the renowned Milawa gourmet region and the many wineries of the Ovens and King Valleys, the homestead offers couples luxury and tranquility in a totally refurbished “home away from home”. Ideally situated for couples to explore the region from Rutherglen to Bright, Beechworth and the King Valley.

- A breakfast hamper with your choice of bacon or salmon, farm fresh eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, juice, fruit and locally baked bread left for guests to prepare at their leisure

- A choice between the queen bedroom with private bathroom and spa; or the queen bedroom with ensuite and bath under the window to view the stars.

This experience is valid for 2 people (one couple) staying two nights. Check-in is at 2pm and check-out at 11am.
Guidelines:
This is a couples only experience and is not available on public holiday long weekends, Christmas, New Years and Easter.

Please note: Although the homestead has central heating, a wood burning fire is available for added ambiance, as well as mood lighting.

No negative feedback. The house and contents were first glass. Lovely and quiet area the owner Ruth was a gracious host which made the experience that much more pleasurable.I have no hesitation in recommending the experience to my friends

Ruth & Noel run a delightful country cottage experience at Mt Pleasant. Very peaceful surrounds on their property but only a phone call away if you have a question. Cottage is spotlessly clean & newly renovated with nothing forgotten. Huge breakfast supplied. I loved the mango passionfruit yoghurt on homemade muesli & Ruth's berry jam on locally made bread. Hubby loved the big brekky...eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes. Wonderful gift from our son & daughter-in-law.

Very quiet, peaceful, and comfortable stay. Just what we were after in our short getaway. Ruth was very friendly, and left full fridge of goodies for us. Coffee machine made my day. Short drive to all coffee places, eateries, wineries etc. Heartily recommend to anyone.

The homestead provied a peaseful environment, we enjoyed the surrounding gardens and the chance to get away from the city rush.
