This delightful country retreat will see you sleeping peacefully. The self-contained cottage is set on 200 acres of prime farmland in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by delightful farm animals, including llamas, and gorgeous lavender gardens! Treat yourself to a midweek break.

What's included?

  • 2 nights accommodation for two persons (midweek)
  • A bottle of local wine & chocolates
  • Breakfast ingredients supplied for two mornings

When you arrive, you'll meet your hosts who will show you to your accommodation. The self-contained cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, ducted air-conditioning, television, CD/DVD and gas BBQ. Your hosts will leave you to settle in with a selection of hand made chocolates and a bottle of local wine!

If time permits, you can help your hosts feed the resident animals or, if you prefer, take a walk. The property consists of 200 acres of farmland and boasts some spectacular views.

Spend your evenings relaxing in the comfort of the cottage and making use of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare yourself delicious evening meals (dinner is not included so you will have to bring your own ingredients).

In the mornings, you can arise early to help feed the animals at 7.30am or if you prefer to sleep in meet the animals later in the day. All your breakfast goodies are left in the house so you can breakfast at your leisure.

You may also wish to visit our shop and see the products we make on site, as well as our distillation unit where we distill the lavender flowers. You can also try our gourmet food range which is made from home grown ingredients from the property's Heritage Gardens.

After all that fresh country air you will be revitalised, refreshed and ready to take on life!

Venue:

Wallarobba, NSW - at the foothills of Barrington Tops in the Hunter Valley, approximately three hours north of the Sydney CBD.

Session Length

We are open seven days a week, excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. You will be staying for two nights midweek Check-in is at 2pm and check-out is at 10am the following day.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one couple sharing a Queen Room. The cottage can accommodate up to eight guests, should you wish to book with friends. Children are welcome for an additional $40 per child, including breakfast. This additional fee is to be paid to the supplier direct.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

This experience is not affected by weather.

Other Info:

The cottage is fully self-contained and breakfast is included in the price, but you will need to bring some food for dinner.

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations notified 14 days prior to arrival date may be applied to another date subject to conditions and availability. In the event of any cancellation (for any reason) occurring within 14 days of the arrival date, the amount paid will be forfeited, but may be refunded minus a $50.00 rebooking fee if the cancelled accomodation is subsequetly re-sold to another guest at the same tariff rate and for the same period being cancelled. Further, no shows or any cancellations notified within 2 days of the booked arrival date will forfeit the entire amount paid and will incur a liability for any amount still outstanding.

    It's amazing how refreshing a short stay away from home is, ESPECIALLY in an environment where EVERY attention to detail is evident. The hardest part was packing up to come back .... thank you to the dedicated host and the wonderful "home".

    We had such a lovely time. Beautiful setting for a romantic getaway. Had fun feeding the animals- especially the baby goats- and couldn't have been anywhere lovelier for a picnic and wine. Some words of advice, not for those who don't like lavender. Very, very enjoyable stay. Thanks to Denise for her warm hospitality.

    Our 2 nights stay was beautiful.The cottage was beautiful clean and tidy,the yard was tidy and lovely to walk in.The eggs for breakfast were fresh from the chicken coup and their home made jam was delicious.Everythink was just wonderful.For Mothers Day our son gave us lunch at Camelot and now for our 50th Wedding Anniversary our son gave us the 2 nights stay.It was beautiful and we can recommend it to everyone.Thank you.

    Very peaceful. The house was clean and everything you needed to make your comfortable was given. The continental breakfast was excellent. Recommend to anyone looking for a restful and quiet stay away. Bring your cards and board games with you.
