Do an aerobatic flight in South-West Sydney and fly the plane yourself! From the moment you're strapped into the Pitts Special you're in another dimension. This 20-minute session will give you the time of your life. Experience spinning, rolls, loops and an amazing array of full-on aerobatics!

Upon your arrival at the hanger, you will meet your pilot and ground staff for the day and be shown around the aircraft and given brief safety instructions and there is plenty of time for photos. You'll be given flying instruction on this Pitts Special aircraft - brand new and has only just arrived from the USA. This fantastic aerobatic machine is the only one of its kind in the Sydney Basin. It is designed for speed, manoeuvrability and full-on aerobatics!

We'll get you strapped and secured into your seat. For the duration of your flight you'll be sitting at the front of the aircraft and your pilot will be sitting behind you. When all is ready and the engine started, you will be up and away on your flight.

You have communication with your pilot for the duration of the flight through your headset and he will make the journey as enjoyable as possible for you, explaining the manoeuvres and being as adventurous with loop the loops and rolls as you wish. You'll even have the chance to take the controls and one point and discover your own talents.

The Pitts Special has a climb speed of 85 knots at a rate of over 2000 ft per minute and a maximum speed of 184 knots - which is 3 times faster than the Tiger Moth. The thrill of aerobatics is the ultimate adrenalin rush and each manoeuvre will leave you feeling completely exhilarated.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Camden, NSW.

Session Length

20 minutes. Flights take place during daylight hours and are available everyday of the week except Tuesdays, subject to availability. Not available Christmas, Boxing or New Years days.

Guidelines:

You must be at least 15 years of age and must weigh no more than 90kg. Bring a camera with you but it will need to be secured in-flight.

Numbers:

You will be one-on-one with your pilot.

Spectators:

All spectators are welcome and will be escorted to an area on the tarmac where they can watch your take-off and landing. There is no limit on spectators, but children must be escorted by a responsible adult.

Weather:

We require clear and calm conditions and may have to cancel in the case of poor weather. Please contact us on the morning of your flight to confirm. If cancelled, we'll re-schedule your flight. A minimum of 24 hours is required to reschedule, otherwise a 25% cancellation fee may be charged.

Other Info:

Please allow up to 1 hour for the experience. This includes approximately 20 minutes in the air and a total of 15 minutes before and after take-off for a safety brief and photos opportunity. Best time of the day for the flight is very early morning.

    It was my son who has Down Syndrome that went on the acrobatic flight experience, he hasn't stopped talking about it. The staff were very helpful and reassuring to me the way that they explained what to do and not what to do when explaining things to Trent. I felt he was in safe hands so thank you for making his experience an amazing one.

    I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he LOVED IT!! The pilot was super friendly and very experienced plus the plane look awesome up close too.

    I have sky dived, bugee jumped, rock climed and scuba dived, but this experience has topped them all! Flying in the Pitts Special was an amazing experience i will never forget and hopefully will do again soon. I have already been telling friends to have a go for themselves. My pilot Jarrod was friendly and fun, making sure I was comfortable the whole experience. I want to learn how to fly now even more than ever. Thank you for a fantastic adventure.
