Fighter Jet L39-C Familiarisation Mission- 20 Mins

Experience 4000pds of thrust as you blast into the blue at up to 910km/h in one of the latest military jets, the L39-C Albatros Fighter! This is currently the only one in Australia available commercially. As seen in James Bond 007 "Tomorrow Never Dies" and "Lord of War" starring Nicolas Cage.

Your familiarisation flight experience begins with meeting your fully qualified, competition level, air display pilot and other members of our team. All of our pilots are professional commercial pilots. You will then be guided through a pre flight brief and complete the necessary manifest papers.

Next, we will move to your aircraft for inspection and pre-flight photographs. So, don’t forget the camera!

One of our specially trained staff will help you aboard the aircraft and assist with seatbelts and flying equipment including your intercom equipped flying helmet (this makes for another excellent photo opportunity!) During the flight you will be sitting in the back seat of the aircraft, behind the pilot.

Remember that your flight is totally and absolutely tailored to you. You are in constant communication with your pilot who will guide you through a cruising tour followed by your aerobatic adventure. Because the experience is one on one with your pilot, he will make your flight what YOU want it to be. Tone it up, or tone it down. Whether you choose mild or wild, the choice is completely up to you!

Your Fighter Familiarisation Mission will take you as high as 11,000 ft over the beautiful Hunter Valley with sensational views of the coastline to the east and mountains to the north.

You are co-pilot - one to one with your pilot - your flight is interactive and customised. You can commence with "G" warm maneuvers then move on to smooth tactical aerobatics including the aileron roll, barrel roll, loop, derry turn, immelman and split S. Feel the power, speed, maneuverability and "G".

At the completion of your flight, you will have a debrief with your pilot, friends and family and relive the fun and excitement of your experience.

You will be presented with a Flight Certificate to help remember your experience forever.

Session Length

Flights are available seven days a week weather permitting. Please allow up to 2 hours for the entire experience. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance.

Guidelines:

There is a minimum age of 16 years for sport and vintage flights and we have flown people up to 85 years of age. Any flights undertaken are at the sole risk of the passenger. We always tailor the flight to suit the individual. You should generally be in good health and weigh less than 140 kgs.

Numbers:

Each flight experience will be conducted one to one with the pilot. This allows us to tailor each flight to suit every passenger.

Weather:

If the weather is unsuitable for flying, we will contact you as early as possible in the morning (if the decision has not been made the day prior) on the day of your flight or alternatively you can call us to check weather conditions.

An indemnity waiver will be required to be signed prior to your flight.
