Helicopter Transfers in the Hunter Valley. This is by far the best way to get around without the worry of driving. We will provide you with an aerial taxi service to and from the restaurant. A unique and fun way to experience the best of the Hunter Valley.

Main Description

On the day of your experience, you will be greeted by our friendly pilot at a pre-arranged meeting point, or we can arrange to meet you at your accommodation. Once on board the helicopter you will be given your own headset so that you can freely chat to the pilot and each other as you fly over the magical patchwork vineyards of Hunter Valley, flanked by the spectacular Brokenback mountain range, to your restaurant of choice.

Most restaurants/wineries have helicopter landing spots right on the front lawn, so you can arrive in style for your meal. At your leisure you can enjoy your meal and then indicate to the pilot when you would like to return back home again.

This unique experience is an affordable and very popular way to enjoy the Hunter Valley wineries and restaurants.

This tour can be extended to include extra winery stop offs and other spontaneous built in adventure throughout the day. Just ask the pilot for ideas and you will be surprised how much fun you can have exploring the Hunter Valley from a locals perspective.

Venue:

Located in Hunter Valley - approximately two hours drive north of Sydney. The helicopter departs from Cessnock Airport. Alternatively you can arrange helicopter pick up and drop off directly from your accommodation.

Session Length

This experience is available Thursday through to Sunday each week. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. Please allow three hours for this experience. You will be in the helicopter for 20 minutes.

Guidelines:

There is a maximum weight limit 136 kg per person. You must be 18 years of age or over to consume alcohol during this experience.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. The helicopter can carry up to three passengers.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome to take photos and wave to you as the helicopter takes off!

Weather:

Flights will be postponed due to extreme weather conditions.

You will receive a flight briefing before boarding the helicopter. Please tell us which restaurant you would like to dine at at the time of booking.

    We had a great time. Deb and our pilot were very friendly and welcoming. Our meal at Muse Restaurant was excellent. My only negative would be that the description said 20 mins flight time, but we were in the air somewhat less than that. Regardless, I would recommend this experience.
