Main Description

As we depart the Geelong Waterfront we become airborne over the bay and start to enjoy the sights of: Corio Bay, Geelong City, You Yang Mountains, At Queens Park we pick up the Barwon River as we head through Geelong with sights of Skilled Stadium (home of the Cats AFL team) Geelong Race Track, Reedy Lake and Lake Connewarre and even Melbourne CBD skyline on a clear day, we then start our descent over Cheetham Salt Pans as we return back to the Geelong Waterfront.

As this flight fly’s over the bay and the city It is the perfect flight for those who have lived in Geelong but never seen it from the air or those who are passing through and want to see all of Geelong without spending hours driving around.

Geelong Waterfront in the heart of the Geelong CBD.

12 minute flight time.

Guidelines:

Maximum individual participant weight is 136kg. Customers that are suffering form cold/flu or vertigo are not permitted on the flight.

Numbers:

Minimum 2, maximum 3 persons per flight. There will be 1 pilot at all times and also a ground crew during busier periods to assist with loading/unloading passengers

Spectators:

Spectators are able to watch the passengers take off and land from the Geelong Waterfront.

Weather:

In the event of poor weather we will reschedule your booking.

    It was fantastic, the pilot and ground were very helpful as I have an artifical leg and it was no trouble for them to help me in and out of the helicopter, i have already told all my friends about the great time I had. Keep up the good work.

    I loved this experience. I had it planned for me and my partner. I organised the day off from work for us both and waited until we were over 1500 feet in the air to propose to her (of course she said yes!) ...I had spoken to the crew prior to the day and had it all organised, they new exactly what was going on and helped me plan it all. Excellent crew, fun, exciting and I want to do it again!

    Originally I booked the open cockpit ride for 2 but they were not operating on valentines day...However RedBalloon staff were helpful in reorganising to book a trip last minute with the Helecopter ride over Geelong which was sweet :)
