Main description

Your helicopter flight experience begins with a greeting and check-in from our friendly operations staff, followed by a thorough safety briefing in the comfort of our modern and spacious guest lounge.

After the safety briefing, we will use your own camera for some happy snaps in front of your helicopter to begin the memories of a sensational Heli Tour. You will be given a free outdoor camera to be taken with you on the helicopter for more fantastic memories of your flight over picturesque Sydney.

Upon takeoff enjoy full panoramic views of the Sydney skyline, Pacific Ocean and the historic Port Botany with the doors off the helicopter and the wind blowing through your hair. Within 3 minutes of departure your experienced and skilled pilot will have you zooming past the Eastern Suburbs beaches including Maroubra, Coogee, Clovelly, Bronte, Tamarama and the world famous Bondi. With the doors off the helicopter you will feel like you can almost touch the sand!

Enjoy more great views of the spectacular beaches and coastline as you venture south for the return journey along the coast to Cape Banks and Botany Bay. You will fly past Bare Island (where the final scenes of Mission Impossible 2 were shot), and Port Botany before landing back at the heliport with a massive smile on your face.

Throughout the flight your professional pilot will provide you with an expert commentary on all the sights and heli tour highlights.

Session Length

The Coastal Rush Flight itself is approximately 20-25 minutes in duration. Flights operate 7 days a week. A routine safety briefing is also conducted prior to take off, and passengers are required to arrive 15 mins prior to take off. The experience in total is roughly 40 minutes.

Guidelines:

Any passengers weighing more than 110kg may incur an additional cost. Each flight has a maximum total weight limit including fuel, passengers etc. If the weight limit is exceeded due to a passenger weighing more than the limit of 110kg the cost of an additional seat may apply.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. Minimum booking for a flight to run is 2 passengers (single passenger bookings on existing flights only). MAXIMUM 3 PASSENGERS PER FLIGHT.

Spectators:

Not suitable for spectators.

Weather:

In the event of rain or unpleasant weather, the flight will go ahead if it is safe to do so. If however, visibility is too low, rain is too heavy or the winds are too strong for the flight to operate safely, it will be cancelled and rescheduled.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Well organised and professional probably could have gome a bit more extreme maybe add this as a question when booking as some passengers were less inclined to go for the real adrenalin rush. So it was more about getting three passengers on a flight than the individual experience . 14 February 2012
