The ultimate glider training package for people who value their time and understand the benefits personalised training has on achieving quality learning outcomes. Enjoy three training flights in our state of the art self launching glider.

Our training packages are designed to be done in one day to give you value for money and maximise your learning. We use state of the art self launching gliders to give a superior experience and no queues!

Included in the package are 3 flights of approximately 25 minutes, with pre and post flight briefings. We use of state of the art self launching gliders that allow your flights to be conducted efficiently on the same day without long delays between flights waiting for tows! This allows you to build on previous learning and fast track your progress.

Your initial flights will get you familiarised with the glider and the beautiful Camden valley that surrounds the airport. You then progress to learning about the gliders controls and the effects they have controlling the glider in the air. This involves pre flight briefings followed by in-flight demonstrations and practice, with post flight de-briefings to reinforce understanding. By the end of your flights you should have an understanding of the gliders controls and how they are used to control the glider.

Venue:

Camden Airport, NSW – approximately 50km south-west of the Sydney CBD.

Session Length

Bookings are essential and are subject to availability and weather conditions. Please allow a full day for this experience. Depending on weather conditions, the time and duration of your flight may change.

Guidelines:

You must be over 12 years of age to participate in this experience. If you are under 18 years of age you must have a parent or guardian sign for you on the day. There is also a maximum weight limit of 100kg per person. No prior gliding experience is necessary.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your instructor during your flight.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome and will be able to watch the take off, landing and part of the flight from our mobile operations centre. There is seating at the operations centre and toilets and refreshments are available nearby.

Weather:

Gliding is affected by the weather and your flight may be rescheduled or curtailed if the conditions are unsuitable.

Other Info:

All our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and we pride ourselves on 35 years of safe flying. Our pilots are fully qualified instructors or charter pilots. You will need to sign a waiver on the day, prior to flying. Remember to bring your camera!
