Ever wanted to fly like a bird? You can in a glider! Gliding is a fun way to see the world from a different angle. Soaring 3500ft above the picturesque Camden Valley, get spectacular views of Sydney and the distant Blue Mountains. You'll feel and absorb every second of this brilliant experience!
Your flight begins with a short safety and operational briefing with your pilot, covering the glider, phases of the flight and answering any questions you might have.
Then it’s time to take off and climb to 3500ft above the Camden Valley in a state of the art self launching glider. Your pilot will then switch off the engine and you will be soaring like a bird. After seeing the sights of the surrounding area you will glide back to the airport to prepare for your landing. The flight duration for this experience is approximately 25 minutes.

Venue:
Camden Airport, NSW – approximately 50km south-west of the Sydney CBD.
Session Length
This experience is available on most weekends. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. The duration of your flight will be approximately 25 minutes. Depending on weather conditions, the time and duration of your flight may change.
Guidelines:
You must be over 12 years of age to participate in this experience. If you are under 18 years of age you must have a parent or guardian sign for you on the day. There is also a maximum weight limit of 100kg per person. No prior gliding experience is necessary.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one person. You will be one-on-one with your instructor during your flight.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome and will be able to watch the take off, landing and part of the flight from our mobile operations centre. There is seating at the operations centre and toilets and refreshments are available nearby.
Weather:
Gliding is affected by the weather and your flight may be rescheduled or curtailed if the conditions are unsuitable. It is therefore difficult to schedule an exact time for your flight and it is essential that you call between 9am and 9.30am on the day of your experience to confirm flight details.
Other Info:
All our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and we pride ourselves on 35 years of safe flying. Our pilots are fully qualified instructors or charter pilots. You will need to sign a waiver on the day, prior to flying. Remember to bring your camera!

This was my Grandson Ashton's introduction to enjoying the skies, like his Nan and Pop.. He absolutely loved it. The guys down at Camden, were very helpful and friendly, making him feel very at ease, thanks guys... Great for anyone and everyone who wants to get up in the sky , but do not want to start off with anything toooo hairy scary!

It was amazing. Never experienced a feeling like that before. Weather was perfect for it and loved the moment when the propellers shut off as we quietly glided through the air. The crew were very talkative and friendly and explained all the different functions and I felt very relaxed around them. Thanks again.

Absolutely enjoyable. The aircraft was clean and presentable, the flying instructor instilled a feeling of confidence whilst in the air. The scenery up there was unbelieveably clear from Camden you could see The Heads in Sydney. Cant wait to do it again.
