Take to the skies in either our brand new Foxbat! Recreational Aircraft, or break the surly bonds of earth in the fabulous Drifter open cockpit Microlight. Hear the wind in the wires as you soar over the beautiful Mary Valley and take the controls with one of our qualified instructors.

Main Description

We teach traditional stick and rudder skills, as if from a bygone era. This flight will allow you too Soar over the beautiful Mary Valley and experience the joy and wonder of flight. In either our brand new Foxbat aircraft or the fabulous Drifter Microlight.

You will receive plenty of opportunity to take the controls under expert tutelage.

Tandem Microlight Formation Flights are also available for you and a friend in the wonderful Drifter.

Your instructional flight will encompass a thorough briefing, detailed walk-around.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Venue:

Located at the Gympie Airport. 30 minute drive north of Noosa on QLD’s Sunshine Coast. Approximately 2 hours drive north of Brisbane and 15 minutes south of Gympie township.

Session Length

The entire experience lasts 40 minutes. The time is broken down into a 20 minute flight and 20 minutes of briefing prior to the flight.

Guidelines:

Maximum weight is 100kg. Minimum age is 16 years. Reasonable mobility is necessary to access the cockpit.

Numbers:

You will be one on one with your instructor.

Spectators:

Spectators can view the takeoff and landing.

Weather:

In the event of poor weather the flight will be rescheduled.
