Don the leather flying helmet and goggles and get ready for a flight of pure nostalgia, from an era of romance and excitement. Let the wind blow through your hair as you experience the thrill of an aerobatic flight in a tiger moth, a superb 1940s vintage open cockpit bi-plane.

Upon arrival at the hangar, you will meet your pilot and ground staff for the day and be shown around the vintage, open cockpit Tiger Moth aircraft (with plenty of time for photos) where safety aspects will be explained. Then you will be helped to strap yourself into your seat. For the duration of the flight you'll be sitting in the front seat and your pilot will be seated behind you. When all is ready and the propeller has been swung to start the engine, you will be up and away on your aerobatic flight.

You have communication with your pilot for the duration of the flight and he will make the journey as enjoyable as possible for you, explaining the Manoeuvres and being as adventurous with loop the loops and rolls as you wish. Alternatively you can choose to just sit and watch the world fly past while your pilot points out the areas of interest.

On return to the Hangar you will be assisted from the aircraft by the ground crew where there is an opportunity for some more photos to compliment your amazing memories of your tiger moth aerobatic flight.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Very exciting and nostalgic experience The flight in the tiger moth plane was great and memorable, the pilot was very friendly and informative, have recommended the experience to friends. The only negative comment would be the lack of seating for family or friends waiting on the ground. 8 April 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Insane! That was definitely an insane experience. I do like flying anyway, but probably only did the aerobatics because it was a gift. So glad I did! The feeling of being in an open cockpit tigermoth was nostalgic but then doing aerobatics was freakish, terrifying and wonderfully exhilarating. Insane stuff! Perhaps not for weak stomachs as I'm usually pretty good and came so close to losing breakfast right at the end, but the pilot was very professonal and communicated what we were doing the whole way. One of those life experiences I'll never forget. I also have the video to re-live and share the experience. Woohoo! 18 March 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely brilliant My pilot Shane fully explained all details of the aerobatic flight prior to take off and kept me informed during the procedures. The excitment of the aerobatics was breathtaking and I would certainly recommend the flight to young and old. 12 March 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by good experience We arrived at 12pm for my husbands flight at 1pm, only to be told they were just about to call us and cancel as it was too hot. It would have been better if they could contact us earlier as we came from Canberra, and we did try and ring them at 9.30 that morning before we left but there was no answer. In saying that he got to go in a chipmonk instead, just wasnt an open cockpit. The pilot he had was fantastic and explained everything to him, did a few loops and then had a nice relaxing sight seeing flight, which my husband said was fantastic. Full credit to the pilot,my husband thought his name was Eric, may not be, but he was great. 18 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Should have done this years ago! Wonderful experience being in an open cockpit plane. Almost as much fun as riding a motorcycle. Then the aerobatics. Wow, thoroughly enjoyed it. Would love to do it again and have a better look around during the manoeuvres. Peter was an excellent pilot and made me feel very comfortable. Enjoyed his commentary. Thoroughly recommend this experience. 16 January 2013
