Have you always wanted to shimmy and shake? This group dancing class is the perfect opportunity for you to have some fun with your friends. If belly dancing isn’t your thing you can choose to have a burlesque or a Bollywood dance class instead! This is your time to shine!

Prior to your dance class you will need to choose whether you want a belly dancing, burlesque or Bollywood theme or a mix of them works very well. Then on the day of your experience we will come to your chosen location and greet you with a spectacular performance! Whether you have chosen Bollywood, belly dance or burlesque, our inspirational dance performance will bring smiles and positive energy into the group!

But you won’t have to stand back and watch us for long! Straight after the performance we get everyone involved in a fun dance class of your choice. We bring all the costumes and accessories for you to wear so you can get right into character while we teach how to dance. Costumes will coincide with your chosen theme and may include belly dance scarves, bindis and dandiya sticks. Whether you have chosen belly dance, burlesque or Bollywood, the dance routine we teach you will be simple and fun!

Our costumes are spectacular and you will be taught by qualified entertainers and facilitators who will ensure you get into a fabulous mood for your dance class!

We also bring a CD for you to dance to and will leave it as a gift to your group so that you can keep on dancing after we’ve left and practice the routine that we’ve taught you. We also leave you with dance ‘dare cards’ and a signature calico bag and shimmy scarf for the special person in your group. This might be the hen or the birthday person. Alternatively, you could play a fun dance game and award the scarf and bag as a gift to the winner.

Venue:

Your chosen location with a 10km radius of the Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide or Perth CBD. We are able to travel outside these areas for an additional travel fee of $100 for every 15km.

This experience is perfect for any group of up to 25 people who want to shimmy and shake! We do belly dance, burlesque and Bollywood dance classes. Please advise us at the time of booking of your choice of dance class.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for up to 25 people. For groups with more than 25 participants we recommend hiring an additional instructor. Please advise us if you would like to pay for an additional instructor at the time of booking.

Weather:

If you have chosen an outdoor venue for your belly dancing class you will need to have an alternate indoor venue arranged in case of poor weather.

Session Length:

This experience is available by appointment only. The duration of your dance class will be one hour.

Extra Info:

You will need to choose a venue that provides enough space for all participants to dance comfortably. If you have arranged for your dance class to take place at an outdoor venue you will need to have a power outlet available so that we can plug our CD player in.
