Surprise your partner with a limousine pickup from your Byron Bay accommodation, amaze them with a private hot air balloon flight over the beaches and hinterland, and indulge them with a champagne breakfast at one of Byron’s five-star restaurants. This is a very special hot air ballooning adventure!

Your day begins when you are picked up from your Byron Bay accommodation approximately one hour before sunrise. You and your partner will be climbing into your luxury limousine as the first rays of sunlight are greeting the earth.

You will be driven to our hot air ballooning base and after a short briefing, be taken to the launch site with our pilot and crew.

This is an extra special ballooning experience as you, your partner and the pilot will be alone in the basket! Your balloon will take off at sunrise, rising into the air as the sun’s rays begin to light the earth. You and your partner will experience the fun and unique sensation of hot air ballooning over the breathtaking coastal and hinterland landscapes. From up in the air you will be one of the first to witness the sun rise over Australia’s most easterly point. Soar over the terrain far beneath and gaze across the horizon, stretching endlessly from Byron’s impressive Mt. Warning.

After landing in a farmer’s field, ride in your limo to Victoria's, a five-star restaurant, for a gourmet champagne breakfast. You will partake in a toast with your pilot and receive a hot-air ballooning certificate to remember your day by. You will enjoy the magnificent setting until you are ready to be taken back to your accommodation.

The romance and intimacy of just you and your partner gently drifting over the Byron Rainbow Region is an experience that you will cherish forever.

Guidelines:

You must be 18 years of age or over to drink champagne during the breakfast. Ballooning is suitable for anyone over the age of five. A reasonable level of fitness is required as you will need to stand for the duration of the flight.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for two people. It will be just the two of you and your pilot in the basket during your hot-air balloon flight!

Weather:

This experience may be affected by the weather. In the case of poor weather conditions we may need to reschedule your experience for a later date. We will contact you the day prior to your experience to confirm your booking.

Session Length:

This experience is available every day, excluding Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Bookings are essential and are subject to availability. You’ll be picked up about one hour before sunrise. The duration of the experience will be four hours and your hot air balloon ride, one hour.
