Wine Tasting & Lunch In The Yarra Valley

Wine tasting in the stunning Yarra Valley - this award-winning winery tour visits premium vineyards and includes entertaining presentations and a superb winery restaurant lunch with wine. During your Yarra Valley wine tour you'll also visit the home of Australia's number one bubbly, Domaine Chandon!

Your full day Yarra Valley wine tour includes:

9am -10am: You meet at one of the pick-up points in Melbourne.

10am: You’ll depart the final pick-up point for the Yarra Valley, arriving at your first winery in about one hour.

11am: Yering Station Vineyards - Yering Station is one of Australia's most spectacular wineries. We'll start the winery tour by showing you how to swirl, sniff and slurp and then you’ll be ready to taste some of Yering Station’s award-winning benchmark classic wines.

12pm: Rochford’s - Rochford's have long been the benchmark for style and class in the Yarra Valley and the wines also live up to this reputation. The first half hour will be spent at the wine tasting table, a great opportunity to make a wine selection for lunch! Then it's into the restaurant for a superb lunch while taking in magnificent vineyard views. Lunch includes main meal, a glass of Rochford’s wine and tea or coffee.

1.40pm: Yering Farm - The old hay shed situated at the top of the hill has been converted into a charming rustic cellar door, just oozing with character. It is a fantastic environment to enjoy superb wines made with traditional winemaking techniques.

2.15pm: Domaine Chandon - French Champagne company Moet & Chandon's Australian production house Domaine Chandon is the perfect way to finish the winery tour, with a guided tour through the winery that shows how the wine is made. This is followed by a relaxing glass of Australia's best bubbly with light tasting platters and a view that will leave you in awe. Spectacular, to say the least.

3.30pm: Leave Yarra Valley for Melbourne

4.30pm-5pm - Return.

PLEASE NOTE: Service of alcohol may be refused to persons deemed intoxicated. Persons causing a nuisance to other passengers may be removed from the wine tour. We are not liable for any expense incurred should this occur.

Venue:

Melbourne. Pick-up points include St Kilda, the City and North Melbourne. Pick ups are also available on request from selected locations on Maroondah Highway from Nunawading to Lilydale. PLEASE NOTE: You MUST phone at least 24 hours prior to your tour departure date to confirm your pick up time.

Guidelines:

Passengers must be able to prove age over 18 years for the consumption of alcohol. There will be no refunds for passengers who fail to be at designated pick ups at designated times. Alcohol may not be consumed on vehicles. 48 hours notice required to reschedule date.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person. We take group bookings at a maximum of seven people. There may be more than one small group on the bus, but the tour is designed for the groups to operate independently.

Weather:

We operate no matter what the weather. If it’s nice weather we spend time outside and if it is raining or cold we remain indoors at the wineries.

Session Length:

Tours depart Melbourne city at approximately 10am (after pick ups) and return back to Melbourne city between 4:30pm – 5:00pm depending on traffic. The Yarra Valley wine tour is available seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, excluding December 25-26 and January 1.
