Experience the exhilarating, heart pumping adrenalin rush of your life in the passenger seat of a race prepared, six-speed V8 Holden Commodore.

On the day of your driving experience, you’ll be greeted by friendly staff who will request that you complete the necessary paperwork and then issue you with a race suit and helmet. All this is in anticipation of your drive of a lifetime!

You will be using a six-speed V8 race prepared Holden Commodore and as you are driven around the track, you will have constant contact with your instructor at all times. Push it to the absolute limit!

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Session Length

This experience runs every Friday - Sunday plus public holidays. Please allow about an hour. You will drive one slow instructional lap followed by six laps around the circuit. All bookings are subject to availability.

Guidelines:

Drivers must be over 18 years of age and hold a P-Plate manual license as a minimum requirement with manual car driving experience. All participants must be drug and alcohol free. A 135kg maximum weight restriction applies and you must not be over 195cm.

Numbers:

The price quoted is for one person.

Spectators:

Spectators are welcome. Please make sure that they remember their camera / video camera, sunscreen and a hat.

Weather:

This experience is run in all weather conditions - rain, hail or shine!

Cancellation Policy:

Participants must give a minimum of 2 working days’ notice of any changes to the booking or risk forefeiting their voucher.

Rated 1 out of 5 by I'm glad it was a gift and I didn't pay for this! So, I went to the V8 hotlaps at Perth. It was later in the day (about 3.30pm) and as soon as I arrived I got the impression it was an effort for the instructor to still be there. The induction was ok, but dis-jointed. I think it was assumed we had been there before, very quick and again, I had the impression they just wanted to pack up for the day. Very brief introduction to the car, then we took the car out. First lap was done at a slow pace to get to know the track. Instructor gave the impression he didn't want to be there, talked briefly for a few corners then pretty much gave no instruction after that. Even at points where my inexperience was obvious he said nothing apart from the occasional sigh. If this hadn't been a gift then I would have had a few words to say to him. I didn't even hang around to watch the video of my driving or to be sold my DVD for $49. I just wanted to leave, it was not the most welcoming of experiences. I will not be recommending this to anyone, in fact if I hear of anyone going to the Perth track then I will strongly advise they go elsewhere. I have been on a few of these around Perth and they have been much much better than this. Very disappointing experience - I certainly wont be buying any of my friends gifts from here if this is the quality of experience! 25 November 2012
