Rated 4 out of 5 by So glad I was given this experience as a present! I'd been using digital SLR cameras for some time now and had learnt a lot on my own, but this experience allowed me to put it all together and also gave me the opportunity to ask questions of a professional photographer. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 12 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for beginners wanting to learn manual camera basics The course would be very useful for beginners who mostly use their DSLRs or automatic settings and want to learn the basics of manual settings & some tips of photo composition. The instructor explained concepts clearly & simply, showed different people how the settings are set on their different cameras, and gave plenty of practice time & chance to ask questions. For someone who is already a little familiar with manual settings (ISO, shutter speed, aperture) & basic concepts of photo composition, this course might be a bit too basic. Would definitely recommend for beginners though, especially those who invested in good DSLR cameras - pity not to use them to their full potential! 12 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by What an awesome course!! I've walked away with a better understanding on how to use exciting options on my camera & how to take the perfect shot. The class was well set out, very easy to follow & full of helpful info! The instructor on the day was very knowledgeable & had a great sense of humour - this made learning fun & interesting. Great location for this class too. Thanks Heaps!! 30 April 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by A good workshop covering manual camera operation and basic composition. The workshop was held at the water taxi wharf at Circular Quay, an excellent site for photography, and run by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable presenter. The workshop was very much hands on with the presenter helping us individually to operate our cameras in manual mode and thereby explore the basic principles of photography. Recommended. 27 April 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Satisfactory in most stages I received this experience for Landscape Photography as a gift. I was already familiar with most concepts discussed in the session, regardless of this I did pick up a couple of tips. For a novice this would be an excellent experience. 21 April 2013
