  Finally able to take my camera off auto and be in total control of my camera. Finally I can take photos at night that look the same as the professionals. Well worth the money and the teacher was very patient with this very green SLR user. A must do course for anyone who wants to take night photos.

What she showed us in the first few minutes taught me how to take significantly better night and low light shots. The learning didn't stop there.   Terrific evening although I think that it was a lot to cram in to 2 hours. Possibly an early afternoon start with some of the theory before the practical part of the evening starts.

  Although a novice with the manual use of my camera was able to learn how to take photos of city lights and experiment with the use of longer exposures. Penny taught us a couple of tricks for making interesting effects while taking longer exposure photos. Now have lots of new ideas to practice with my camera! Deb

  Excellent course. Perfect for beginners and intermediate photographers. A few quick tips and you're getting the most out of your camera for night scenery shots. Great teacher and good sized class. Varied subjects/conditions and settings. Perfect for ANY camera with manual capabilities (be it a compact/superzoom/dslr). Definitely recommend.

  I found the night photography course to be interesting and informative. Penny the instructor gave clear and concise instructions for each camera setting and checked with each participant to ensure they understood and were ok. There were six in the group but the experience felt one on one. I would highly recommend this course to other people new to using Digital SLR camera's.
