One of Australia’s most legendary stories is retold as Australian Outback Spectacular celebrates the courageous spirit of the Australian horse and commemorates the legend that is Phar Lap.
Australian Outback Spectacular’s ‘Spirit of the Horse’ brings to life this iconic Australian story in a specially designed world class arena. The all new show features an amazing cast as magnificent animals including the spirited Australian stockhorse. The stunning special effects will have you on the edge of your seat as we celebrate the courageous spirit of the Australian horse and pay tribute to the legend that is Phar Lap.
The grandeur does not end there as you’re treated to a stirring musical score composed exclusively for the show, as well as popular music composed and written by country music legend Lee Kernaghan.
Then it’s time for some fun and games! Australians are famous for their competitive spirit and it’s impossible not to become involved in the competition that develops between stockmen and women from rival stations. Join in the excitement as the stockmen and women test their skill in the race to be champions.
Australian Outback Spectacular’s ‘Spirit of the Horse’ is a high energy show that demands every participant be well fed and that applies especially to the audience! So forty stockmen and women will serve up a gourmet Aussie feast with beer, wine or soft drink to all 1000 guests in record time.

Session Length
We operate 6 nights per week from Tuesday to Sunday (closed Christmas Day and Saturday nights not included). Doors open from 6.15pm and pre-show entertainment commences at 7pm. The show commences at 7.30pm and concludes at approximately 9pm. We also do 4.30pm shows during peak holiday periods.
Guidelines:
Strollers are not permitted inside the venue but can be stored in the Cloak Room. Gluten free, vegetarian and diabetic meal requests can be accommodated. Please advise us at the time of booking.
Numbers:
The price quoted is for one adult. Children’s prices are available – please refer to product code WVT912. The arena seats up to 1000 people per night.
Weather:
This event is held in an indoor arena and is therefore not affected by the weather.
Other Info:
Video cameras and flash photography cannot be used in the arena and during the show. The package includes show entry, dinner and a stockman’s hat.
Suitability Information:
This experience may be suitable for people with a mobility impairment. There are a limited number of seats for guests in wheelchairs – please advise us if this is required at the time of booking.

Peter and I absoloutely loved The Australian Outback and The Light Horse Experience, as Peters ancestors lived on a sheep station in Western Qld and my grandfather was no 100 in the Qld Light Horse it was very sentimental to both of us. Our Children gave us the Experience for a Christmas Gift and it would be one of the best we have ever been given. We will certainly tell all our friends and family how wonderful the show is and well worth the time and money.

The outback show was wonderful. The staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. The food was great. Their presentation of the outback was great and would be the best thing to take overseas visitors to. We also found the lighthorse portrayal moving - well done.

Great experience all arranged online with constant updates and feedback and as a bonus we had the best seats in the house. My sons 5 and 3 spent an evening in awe of the fantastic horse riders and the wonderful spectacle they put on. Would recommend it to any one especially families.

Was a little concerned about the ticketing material which I thought might be a problem as we did not having actual tickets but it was no problem she just checked her computer and there we were, was a wonderful night would recommend it to anyone.

The pre show light entertainment was a good way of setting up the mood for the evening ahead and for the patrons the opportunity to mingle. The Gift shop displayed some lovely items. We found the event well organized, the service was good. The food was fine and were treated to a very 'Australian 'experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending friends to attend your event.

It was a really well organised show. I loved the way we were seated facing the show, and dinner was served there in front of us (rather than sitting side on at a table as you do at most dinner-and-show events). The show itself was indeed spectacular, and a very enjoyable night out for the whole family.

The show was fantastic, a complete sense of Australiana, heritage and highly skilled performance. All the cast did a wonderful job delivering the show and the tricky horse maneuvers were great. Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere, I really enjoyed myself a lot more than I thought I would. Loved it.

The Australian Outback Spectacular was fantastic - I am from Melbourne, my husband and I went to the 1st show and loved every minute of it. Since then I have recommended to many people only recently purchasing tickets for my son and his partner so they could experience it - they also loved it. My girlfriend and I were just up at the Gold coast for a few days and I suggested to her that we go -again she was enthralled, the show was fantastic the food superb, and the staff great. The Outback Experience was absolutely fantastic, the sound and light effects were fabulous, meal great .Friendly and efficient service and because my Dad was a lighthorseman ,very emotional, I still have his Kangaroo Feathers :) oops emu plume !!I I would recommend everyone Aussie and overseas visitors to experience this event !!!!!!
