Rockclimbing is the fastest growing outdoor sport in the world and this two-day Introductory Rockclimbing Adventure will show you why. Share the thrills with some of Australia’s most experienced instructors on the best introductory rockclimbs in the Blue Mountains.

Two days of thrills, rockclimbing in the Blue Mountains. This activity is designed for participants with little or no previous experience. You will learn about safety on the rock, using climbing equipment, as well as abseiling, how to best use various footholds, handholds and other climbing techniques. Then you’re off to experience some of the best introductory rockclimbs in the Blue Mountains. We’ll picnic amid the beautiful bush, with all food and refreshments supplied.

This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Katoomba, NSW.

Session Length

Two full days starting from 8:45am - 9:00am to approximately 5pm. Please note: your start time will be confirmed at time of booking.

Guidelines:

All specialist climbing equipment including climbing shoes is provided. If you have your own equipment feel free to bring it along. This activity does require some fitness – if you can easily climb a household ladder you are fit enough.

Numbers:

Group sizes are approximately one instructor for every three or four participants.

Weather:

Sometimes prolonged wet weather may require postponing this program but remember the weather in the mountains can be very different to that in Sydney. Assume experience will go ahead unless you have been contacted otherwise. If you have any concerns regarding the weather, please call our office.

Other Info:

Arrive at the Paddy Pallin Adventure Centre by 9:00am. If you are running late please call our office. A wholesome lunch and refreshments is supplied. Participants should bring a daypack, water bottle, sun-cream, camera (optional). Note: Overnight Accommodation is required in the Blue Mountains

Cancellation Policy:

Many of our activities book out early. Your experience booking will be forfeited if you cancel with less than 72 hours notice. Management may decide to transfer your booking with no penalty if it does not affect the activity. If you need to make any changes to your booking, please contact our office as soon as possible.
