Main Description
Mammoth caving experience offers a real adventure; no one is sure how deep this cave is. Recently scuba divers descended 92.7 meters into the depths of Mammoth cave and they still didn't reach the bottom. The Mammoth cave is the largest undeveloped section of Jenolan Caves.
There is no scuba diving involved in this tour however the cave will deliver challenge after challenge, you'll explore several large chambers and a flowing section of the underground river system.
This experience voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Venue:
Jenolan Caves, 3 hours drive West of Sydney CBD or 1hour 20 minutes West of Katoomba
Session Length
The experience runs for a full day, its runs on the first Saturday of every month. Starts at 8.30am and finishes at 5.30pm
Guidelines:
It is recommended that you have had previous caving experience (Plughole tour) prior to taking this experience. Moderate fitness required, maximum weight is 150kg, minimum age is 16. Please supply your own packed lunch.
Numbers:
There will be a minimum of 3 people on the tour and a maximum of 10.
Spectators:
Spectators can see you at both the entry and exit points.
