Abseil the pink granite cliffs of the Freycinet Peninsula near the township of Coles Bay. The coastal cliffs with the backdrop of the turquoise blue Tasman Sea are an abseilers paradise. Following this we walk to beautiful Wineglass Bay, one of the world’s top 10 beaches.

This day tour combines an abseiling adventure that is suitable for novices and beginners with a tour to the Cape Tourville Lookout and the stunning beach of Wineglass Bay.

The pink granite cliffs of the Freycinet Peninsula near the township of Coles Bay are an abseilers paradise.

Your adventure begins on the 25 metre coastal cliffs of "Lassies Wall" against the backdrop of the turquoise blue Tasman Sea. Lassies Wall is perfect for beginners as well as the more experienced. The activity runs for 3 hours, it’s fun and you’ll get heaps of goes!

BONUS TOUR - After your abseiling experience you'll visit the Cape Tourville Lookout and then walk along the stunning beach of Wineglass Bay before heading back to Hobart. This is a full days tour and we arrive back at around 7:00pm.

Venue:

Coles Bay – 2.5 hours drive from Hobart. Transport is provided from Tasmania.

Session Length

The tour departs Hobart at 06:30 and returns at 7:00pm. The abseiling component runs for 3 hours followed by a 2 hour walk to Wineglass Bay.

Guidelines:

No pregnant women or people under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Moderate fitness level required. Minimum 12 years of age.
